Radio, what's new?
Inspiration: Kate's farewell from Nova Created: Fri 25 Jul 2003 16:19 View in current style Permalink

Some people would say I was crazy to get up at 5am so that I could watch a live radio show. As I sit here yawning, I would have to agree with those people. But what can I say, there was a Langbroek to farewell, and some live Dempsey action to be had.

Dempsey (advertised as Something for Kate) played the new single, Déjà Vu, complete with violin, and then the old stalwart Monsters. The crowd were also treated to the imperfect man competition finalists (one man sans teeth), Glenn Robbins (who I will hopefully see this coming Wednesday when I'm in The Panel audience) promoting the new series of Kath & Kim, Gus and Frank (playing So Entertaining), and, of course, Chrissie from Big Brother.

Plus, there were free egg and bacon rolls, and Hughesy put $50 on the bar for coffee (unfortunately, they weren't serving alcohol, because if they had been, the rest of today may have turned out quite differently).
